The Foschini Group and HSM launch MAN

MAN, HSM’s most recent launch, is a men’s lifestyle magazine that seeks to educate, entertain and inspire through its content and presentation.

‘We saw an opportunity to position a men’s magazine between the really high-end and mid-level options available in the market. We felt the former spoke only to a very select group of men, while MAN aims to serve the stylish, intelligent, adventurous, ambitious and aspirant gentleman who doesn’t identify with the extravagance and lavishness that some other titles offer,’ says MAN editor, Ryan Vrede. ‘Inspiration is a key focus, with the stories we tell seeking to achieve that purpose.’

Style is also central, and with top brands in the Foschini Group – Fabiani, G-Star, Markham and Exact – lending their expertise, creativity and experience to this cause, MAN’s readers are sure to be on point. ‘Throw in cars, travel, beautiful women, a range of cutting-edge gadgets and astute financial advice and you have a product we believe will become a market leader,’ says Ryan.
