Dive to the depths of the Okavango with AA traveller

04 July 2014 in Lifestyle

AA traveller boasts one of its most evocative covers yet – an underwater picture of a massive crocodile in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. The cover picture was taken from this month’s AA traveller’s gallery, which features images by esteemed wildlife photographer Roger Horrocks.

The croc cover was taken during the filming of Into the Dragon’s Lair, a documentary Roger made with Didier Noirot, a former cameraman for the legendary Jacques Cousteau. The doccie won Best Underwater Cinematography at the 2010 Blue Ocean Film Festival and was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2011 Emmys.

In this series, readers get to see the Okavango Delta as it’s rarely seen – from the bottom up. Go to page 68 for more.
