Another successful fun day brings HSM staff together

31 March 2014 in General

The HSM family cricket day took place at Wynberg Boys' High School on Sunday 30 March, and it saw the defending editorial team champs take on the sales team ‘A-Team’. The editorial team batted first, posting a score of 105, which proved to be too much for the A-Team, who only managed 38 runs.

The winning team members each took home a clothing voucher sponsored by Soviet, as well as bragging rights for a year, with second place receiving a hamper from Supermax.

Loads of HSM staff members came through with their families. The kids were kept entertained with jumping castles, arts and crafts, slush puppies and candy floss, while the spectators were treated to massages from African Touch. Lunch was a delicious spitbraai, rounded off with chocolate brownies.

‘The family day was a huge success,’ says marketing executive Pippa Vilas. ‘A big thank you goes to everyone who came through and joined in on all the action and we look forward to an even bigger, better event next time.’
